The Rancher
Building Description
What It Is
The Rancher is a fully enclosed steel barndominium shell flanked by full-length open lean-tos on both sides. Tan vertical steel panels and a light gray metal roof make up the enclosed center section, while exposed diamond-pattern steel truss columns support covered open bays running the entire length of the building on each side. The result is a working structure with serious covered square footage on all three zones.
What It's Built For
The dual lean-to layout is built for active ranch and farm operations. Both sides stay open for equipment pull-through, vehicle parking, hay storage, or livestock shelter, while the enclosed center handles living quarters, a shop, or secured storage. Built with 14-gauge steel and engineer-certified to local wind and snow load codes. EMB provides the metal building shell only. Occupancy requires Risk Category II classification with stamped engineered drawings per local code.
