42x26x12 Regular Roof Barn
Building Description
This 42x26 regular roof barn is built around a three-section layout that works the way a working farm does. The 18-foot center bay stays open on both sides with gable ends so you can pull equipment straight through without repositioning. Two fully enclosed 12-foot lean-tos run the length of each side, giving you 600 square feet of closed storage for hay, feed, supplies, or animal shelter.
Total footprint: 42 feet wide by 26 feet deep. Center clearance is 12 feet. Lean-to walls sit at 8 feet. All framed in 14-gauge steel and certified to 40 PSF ground snow load, installed on a concrete foundation.

Best for
A 42x26 with lean-tos is a practical structure for farms that need covered storage and animal shelter under the same roof. The open center bay lets you drive a tractor or utility vehicle straight through without blocking the side stalls. Ranchers use the lean-tos for horse or cattle shelter. Hay operations store bales in one lean-to and keep a workspace in the other. If you need a dedicated barn that separates animal areas from equipment without building two separate structures, this layout handles it in one footprint.
